Relay for Life Team - Join Us to help Beat Cancer!
PSU Atlanta is forming a Relay for Life team. The 2010 Relay for Life of Dekalb County will take place on May 14-15 at Adams Stadium on North Druid Hills, near Famous Pub. To learn more, please visit: Relay for Life.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the country a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. Each member of a team would be expected to raise a minimum of $100. Teams can create and hold their own fundraisers before and during the event. Also, individuals can collect donations from family and friends.
Our team captains are Laura Moylan and Lori Huntingdon! If you would like to participate in the Relay for Life, please send them an email to relay@psuatlanta.com. we'll have a lot of fun, meet new people, and of course help out in a very important cause. Thanks in advance for your interest.
