penn-state-alumni-association-atlanta-logo   A message from the President

We are in the midst of unprecedented times.

My fellow alumni,

We are living amid overlapping crises. While social distancing measures have drastically transformed our daily lives due to COVID-19 over these past few months, underlying issues of social inequality and racism have emerged through heartbreaking events which have transpired throughout our country. Our hope is that these recent events will be the catalyst for positive social change in our country and throughout the world.

This has been a time where many of us have had our lives disrupted and social gatherings among alumni were forced to the wayside. Many events and chapter activites planned for 2020 have been affected by COVID-19, including the University's football season. We have been working on creating quality virtual programming hosted by the Atlanta Chapter. Our hope is to come together again in person in 2021 because we are unable to host in person events due to the current state of our ongoing public health crisis and the guidelines imposed by the Penn State University Alumni Association.

In light of the football season's cancellation, a circumstance we could have never imagined during our time as a Penn State Student, we have decided to reduce our membership fees for new graduates (complimentary), individuals ($10), and families ($20).

WE ARE... an organization that only exists through your support and involvement. We miss you all! And we are very anxious for the day we are able come together again.

For The Glory,

Ian King '11

President
