Alumni Association CEO Paul Clifford ’20g will chat with Roger on a variety of topics, including Roger’s time as Executive Director of the Alumni Association, his work in writing books about Penn State, his favorite aspects of being an alum, and more!

 Roger Williams served as Executive Director of the Penn State Alumni Association from 2003-2015, during which time he also served as Associate Vice President of the University and Affiliate Associate Professor of Higher Education.
 
He is the author of two books on Penn State and Land-Grant College History: “The Origins of Federal Support for Higher Education: George W. Atherton and the Land-Grant College Movement” (1991) and “Evan Pugh's Penn State: America's Model Agricultural College” (2018).

A third book, “Frederick Watts and the Founding of Penn State” will be published in spring 2021. All three novels are published by Penn State University Press.
